Wild Life

The wildlife pictured in this collection were photographed in the wild and in their natural habitat unless specifically noted as “captive”. These images were produced using long telephoto lenses, taking care not to disturb the fauna. In addition to climate change, one of the biggest threats to wildlife is habitat loss. Habitat loss from road construction and the increased threat imposed by traffic once the road is built, is one of the most significant causes of wildlife death. Efforts are now being made to consider the migratory and territorial patterns of wildlife in some construction projects. For more information visit the Fauna of the Future links section.
